South Goldenview Anchorage

There is a new home being built across from Goldenview Middle School. This lot has historical problems as can be seen from the mud slides. The original owner clear cut it and divered a section of Little Rabbit Creek. The current developer, Rick Hagen, is draining the property's ground water to the ditch of Goldenview where it is backing up and flowing over the road and creating a road hazard for traffic departing the school. I was told by one parent that if you hit the ice flow just right in an Expedition, you can literally flip over onto the side.

The Developer of Prominence Pointe illegally diverted the ground water from Prominence Point to the North boundary of the property at the Luna intersection. This water was then diverted down the ditchline to 162nd and Luna and drains down to Goldenview. This has caused massive problems for the LRSA and homeowners to try to deal with the water. The Developer and the Corps of Engineers have yet to work out a solution to take the water back to 164th and Luna.
