The developer of Views at Prominence has requested a new hearing before Platting and Zoning for April.  The additional documents I have been forwarded to prepare for the next hearing are the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Determination Letter, the response by the developer, and the letter by the Chair of the Rabbit Creek Community Council. Additional information may be posted to the RCCC website.

February 16, 2007

There was a re-plat request heard February 7, 2007 before the Platting Board.   The LRSA submitted comments both written and in the public testimony.   The re- plat was denied. 

January 2007

Views at Prominence is a development above Prominence Pointe, south of Shangri La, and north of Mountainside Village Drive.  The roads will connect from Mt. McKinley Drive to Lost Horizon Drive.

The Platting Board will be hearing this case on February 7, 2007 at the Lousac Library. There is the opportunity for the public to provide testimony both written and verbal.  The written testimony submitted on behalf of the LRSA focused on concerns with roads and drainage.  Comments can be viewed and submitted on the Muni's website.

The developer is requesting a public utility from the Regulatory Commission of Alaska for public water and sewer.  You can dowload the documents from the RCA website at http://rca.alaska.gov/data/docketDetail.html?docket=U-06-120

To submit comments, you must submit 1 original plus 10 copies of your comments along with a statement that you have provided a copy to the Petitioner.  You need to reference Docket U-06-120 for your comments.  These can either be mailed or hand delivered to their office down town at 701 W 8th Avenue Suite 300.
